WHAT’S NEXT?

25.10.2018 – Manifesta, Palermo

Within the events program of Manifesta 12 Palermo, coordinated by Lisa Wade, the classroom relates to the international institution as a tool to discuss the possible heritage and continuity of art and education projects, active in the city after the closure of the biennial.

Looking back and above all looking ahead, what could be the legacy of cultural activities and productions linked to the relationship between art and education? What role did they have and, above all, will they have the projects developed in the area? To what extent are these realities questioning the format and the nature of the Biennale itself?
